Bhubaneswar, Aug 7:

The flood affected people in Odisha will receive relief for the next seven days.

This was announced by chief minister Naveen Patnaik, who made an aerial survey of the flood affected districts earlier today.

Patnaik covered the flood ravaged parts of Cuttack, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak and Puri districts during his aerial survey to get a feel of the situation on the ground. The chief minister, however, claimed that the flood situation is improving and hoped that normalcy will return soon.
