Cuttack: Odisha’s Cuttack city reported 7 new COVID-19 cases taking the tally to 46, official sources said today.

All the cases are local contact ones. While six of them are linked with previous COVID-19 case of Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Center (AHRCC) here, one case has been detected from Mahanadi Vihar (a family member of an earlier COVID case reported from the area), sources said.

Further contact tracing, testing, and sanitization of the concerned areas are underway.

With this, the number of active COVID cases in the city mounted to 22 while two persons have died of the disease so far.

Apart from the above cases, four other COVID cases belonging to other districts have been identified from AHRCC, sources added
