7 villages in Deogarh declared Containment Zone after 1st COVID-19 case

Deogarh: After Deogarh reported its first COVID-19 positive case yesterday,  the district administration declared seven villages under two Gram Panchayats (GPs) in Tileibani block as containment zone.

Thee villages that come under the boundary of the containment zone include Basudevpur,  Khuntaposhi, Jhatikiposhi, Samantrapali, Nuagaon and Kamalabagicha under Kalanda GP and Sunamunda under Baniakilinda GP.

The containment will remain in force till further orders.

As per the order: 

Vehicular movement  (both private and public transport) will be stopped and all the inhabitants within the Containment Zone will strictly remain indoors.
All the shopping establishment will remain closed. Supply of essential and medical requirements will be ensured through various teams formed by the block administration.
All the Government and private institutions within the Containment Zone will remain closed forthwith.

The following officers have been declared as the Nodal Officers to ensure smooth supply of essential services in the Containment Zone.
