70-year-old woman dies at quarantine centre in Odisha
Jharsuguda: A 70-year-old woman breathed her last at a quarantine centre located at Raghunathpali in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district last night.
The woman and 26 of her kin were kept at the quarantine centre after one of her family members, a Bhubaneswar-returnee, tested positive for COVID-19 on July 12.

She complained of illness last night. However, the woman died around 11 pm before she could be shifted to a hospital for treatment. She was cremated this morning in the presence of police and district administration officials.
The reason behind the death of the woman was yet to be ascertained. Police have started an investigation into the incident.
