79 more COVID-19 patients recover in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The number of COVID-19 recovered patients in Odisha rose to 812 after 79 patients recover from the disease today, informed Health and Family Welfare Department.

The recovered patients are from Ganjam (11), Jajpur (5), Balasore (17), Cuttack (4), Bhadrak (28) Keonjhar (3), Khordha (2), Balangir (2 )  and Puri (7 ).

With this, the total recovered cases surpassed the number of active cases in the state. Also, the number of today’s recoveries is more than the positive cases reported this morning.

Worth mentioning, the number of active cases in the state now stands at 774 with Jajpur having the highest 116 active cases followed by Ganjam with 82. So far, seven persons have succumbed to the deadly virus in the state. Currently, 29 out of the 30 districts have COVID-19 cases.
