849 including 130 children test COVID +ve in Odisha; TPR 1.19%

Bhubaneswar: As many as 849 persons including 130 children below 18 years of age tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha during the last 24 hours while a total of 71231 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 1.19%.

Khurda district reported highest 313 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (115) and Balasore (48).

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state reached 1004059 with 8288 active cases.

The Health Department also reported 66 more deaths due to COVID-19 as the toll rose to 7628. Cuttack district recorded highest 15 fatalities.
