Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s total COVID-19 caseload today further surged to 3,11,788 with detection of 868 fresh cases in the last 24 hours.
Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 499 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 369 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Khordha recorded highest 126 fresh cases followed by Sundargarh (87) and Cuttack (64).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 8,366 and recovered cases at 3,01,777.
