Bhubaneswar: Spike in COVID-19 cases in Odisha continued as 879 new infections were detected in the state during the last 24 hours, official sources said today.
Out of the 879 cases, 518 were detected in quarantine while 361 are local contact cases.
Khordha reported the highest number of cases as 144 more persons in the district have contracted the virus.
With this, the total COVID-19 cases in Odisha mounted to 345526 with 4888 active cases.
