9793 new COVID-19 cases detected in Odisha, Khurda logs highest 1511 infections

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 9793 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours as the tally in the state surged to 554666.

Khurda registered highest number of fresh cases as 1511 more persons in the district contracted the virus, followed by Sundargarh (1018) and Cuttack (641). A total of 46241 samples were tested in the state, yesterday.

With this, the number of active cases in the state rose to 94829.

Odisha also reported 18 COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours.
