Bhubaneswar: The number of COVID-19 recovered cases in the state rose to 1993 after 99 more patients recovered from the disease, said Health and Family Welfare Department.
The patients are being discharged from COVID hospitals today, the department added.
The recovered cases are from Jajpur (16), Khordha (13), Kendrapara (11), Ganjam (9), Deogarh (8), Cuttack (7), Jagatsinghpur (7), Balasore (6), Bargarh (6), Balangir (6), Keonjhar (4), Nayagarh (3), Koraput (1), Sambalpur (1) and Sundargarh (1).
Another 99 Covid patients have recovered and are being discharged on 8.6.2020.

It is pertinent to mention here that 66 per cent of the total positive cases in the state have recovered from the deadly virus. In the last 24 hours, the state reported 138 positive cases taking the total count to 2994. The number of total active cases stands at 990 and casualties due to the virus at nine.
