Aama Odisha Celebrates ‘Raahgiri Day’

Odisha Sun Times Bureau
Bhubaneswar, Jan 18:

Bhubaneswar is going all out in its efforts to be a Smart City, as was evident from the ‘Raahgiri Day’ that was celebrated with exuberance in the Odisha capital, yesterday. The stretch from Master Canteen to Ram Mandir Square bustled with activity as the denizens of the city cycled, skated and played cricket. School students marched around with drums and bugels. Yoga enthusiasts spread their yoga mats on the middle of the road and practised.

In the middle of all this hustle-bustle, Aama Odisha, the socio-cultural organisation, lent a hand and added to the fanfare. It threw open its gates for school children to enjoy a calm ambience and flip through books and magazines on its lawn. Children’s films were screened for the students, too. Keeping in mind the turnout, Aama Odisha has decided to hold such events for students for the next three Sundays.
