Accident on overbridge claims two lives in Odisha’s Puri

Puri: A road mishap on an overbridge at Malatipatpur in Odisha’s Puri district killed two persons and left one critically injured today.

The accident took place early this morning around 4 am when a motorcycle carrying three persons dashed against the parapet of the overbridge, following which they fell off the bridge.

The deceased have been identified as Biswajit Barik and Rudra Barik of Bhandaripokhari area in Bhadrak district.

The injured one, identified as Rakesh Puhana, has been admitted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for treatment.
