Besides, Santosh, police also arrested his key associate Biswajit Dalsinghray, who assisted him in execution of acid attack. He was arrested from Nayagarh.

Police managed to arrest the prime accused after eight years to give justice to acid attack survivor Pramodini.

Pramodini lost her eysight and turned blind in the horrific acid attack over one-sided love affair when she was only 16.

Santosh allegedly threw acid on Pramodini while she was returning to her uncle’s house at Tirtol on April 18, 2009.

The team of police visited Jammu and Kashmir to get the clue about the accused. Later, the police nabbed him in Kolkata where he was hiding.

Recently, Pramodini had undergone a surgery following which she is now able to see her world through one eye.
