Active COVID cases in Odisha cross 50,000-mark with 6073 new infections

Bhubaneswar: The number of active COVID-19 cases in Odisha crossed 50,000-mark as the state reported 6073 new infections in the last 24 hours.

Out of the 6073 cases, 3522 were detected in quarantine while 2551 are local contact cases.

Khurda registered the highest number of cases as 1092 more persons in the district contracted the virus.

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state reached 420129 with 50958 active cases.
