Actor Mihir Das hospitalised: Son Amlan shares update on his condition

Cuttack: Veteran Ollywood actor Mihir Das was yesterday admitted to the Ashwini Hospital here as his condition became critical due to kidney ailments.

He was on ventilator support at the private healthcare facility.

Speaking to media persons regarding his current condition, actor Amlan Das, son of Mihir Das, said, “My father was diagnosed with kidney-related ailments, 3 years ago. He was suffering from diabetes for the last 25 years, which later affected the kidney. He was under medication for the last 3 years.”

“As far as his current condition is concerned, doctors had told us that such situation may arise in the future. Presently, he is undergoing treatment while sedative has been administered,” said Amlan.

“His condition is improving. We seek the blessings of the people for his quick recovery,” he added.
