Adarsha Vidyalaya starts in Kotia panchayat from current academic session

Koraput: Following the instructions of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya (OAV) has started in Kotia panchayat of Koraput district from current academic session, an official informed today.

As many as 59 students have taken admission in Class 6 and teaching has already started. A hostel building was recently completed and free bus service for the students was also launched.

“The school has brought new hopes and aspirations for the people of Kotia panchayat as it will impart high quality education in conformity with CBSE pattern. Intelligentsia and residents have expressed their thankfulness for the Government of Odisha,” the senior administrative official said.

It may be pertinent to mention that Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra had reviewed progress of the construction OAV during his visit to Kotia in mid-April this year. He had fixed the deadline for its completion and commissioning.
