According to reports, Aditya Barad, a student of class II was today taken to ANM Manorama Bindhani’s house at Bikrampur by his grandmother for treating a wound on his leg.

Since Manorama was not in the house her son administered an injection to Aditya.

Allegedly after taking the shot the child’s condition deteriorated following which his family members took him to a private hospital at Balugaon.

Since there was no improvement in the child’s health condition his family took him to Khallikote Community Health Centre (CHC) where doctors declared him dead.

While the child’s body has been sent to MKCG Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem, Ganjam District Collector Prem Choudhury has ordered for a probe into the incident and has directed the Chief District Medical Office (CDMO) to immediately suspend the ANM.
