Administrative rejig in police force in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today transferred some senior officers in police administration and assigned new assignments.

As per a notification issued by the Home department, 2002 batch IPS Narasingha Bhol, who is at present IGP, northern range, Sambalpur, was transferred and posted as IGP, central range, Cuttack.

1997 batch IPS Diptesh Kumar Pattanayak was transferred and posted as IG, Prisons. He is currently working as IGP, Eastern Range, Balasore.

2003 batch IPS HK Lal, who is at present IG, prisons was transferred and posted as IGP, eastern range, Balasore.

2004 batch IPS Deepak Kumar, who was on the central deputation, was posted as DIGP, northern range, Sambalpur following his return.

Also, OPS RK Paikray, at present DCP, Headquarters, Bhubaneswar was transferred and posted as SP, Deogarh.

OPS DP Tripathy, at present ADCP, Bhubaneswar was transferred and posted as SRP, Cuttack.
