New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: Few hours after the CBSE board Class XII examinations were cancelled, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) announced its decision to cancel Indian School Certificate (ISC) Board Class XII examinations this year.
Dr G Immanuel, Chairman of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations announced the decision on cancellation of the exams.
He added the final decision on compiling results is yet to be taken.
Earlier, this evening, during a review meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it was decided the CBSE board Class XII exam will be cancelled for this year.
The decision was taken in view of the uncertain conditions due to COVID and the feedback obtained from various stakeholders.
