AIIMS, Bhubaneswar to launch telemedicine facility

Bhubaneswar: Amid the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown order, the AIIMS, Bhubaneswar today decided to provide telemedicine facility in nine departments.

Through this facility, doctors of the institute will provide consultations to patients. Doctors will also provide photo/scan/digital copy of a signed prescription or e-prescription to patients via WhatsApp.

The institute asked its doctors to prescribe drugs already used by patients on follow up or those drugs which are safe for use.
