The ailing Brahmapur BJD MLA Dr Ramesh Chandra Chau Patnaik was shifted from Kalinga Hospital here to Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon today.

Patnaik who was admitted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Brahmapur last year following a protracted illness was shifted to Kalinga Hospital in Bhubaneswar recently.

However, following advice of the doctors here, he was shifted to Medanta Hospital for advanced treatment.
