Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Regional Centre today issued thunderstorm warning for as many as 11 districts across the state.

As per the latest bulletin issued by the MeT centre, rain accompanied with lightning is likely to lash several parts in the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Ganjam, Gajapati, Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh, Boudh, Kalahandi and Nabarangpur.

The weather condition in the districts is likely to prevail till 5 PM today.

The weathermen advised people of the said districts to remain cautious and stay safe during the lightning.
