Alia Bhat’s outfits re-imagined as ‘Donuts’; netizens go gaga

Mumbai: As the entire nation is under ‘house arrest’ due to COVID-19 lockdown,  internet has become a ‘saviour’ for the people in these testing  times.

From Dalgona coffee to posting pictures in sarees and so on, these online challenges have, as if, helped the netizens keep their sanity intact during this lockdown. While many have explored their lesser-known appreciable versions, some have portrayed their talents that are altogether creative and bizarre. And, social media platforms are flooded with proofs.

Last week, micro-blogging site Twitter was obsessing over a thread of pictures of Barbadian singer and actress Rihanna’s outfits that were compared with 25 Indian snacks by a Twitterati. Continuing with the newly-discovered lockdown trend, another Twitterati going by the user name Safa (@aliasheart), has recently posted pictures of Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt re-imagining her outfits as ‘Donuts.’

The user has posted ten of Alia’s pictures in a Twitter thread with ten different pictures of donuts that according to her are very similar to the actress’ outfits. She has captioned it- “Alia Bhatt as Donuts ~ a thread. 🍩”

But this is not for the first time. The user had earlier compared the B-Town starlet with hand sanitizers too and the pictures say it all.

However, netizens seemed to enjoy the thread as they only sent love and compliments for the millennial actress.
