“All the best”: Odisha CM wishes BJD candidate Pranab Prakash Das for Sambalpur seat

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik wished BJD’s Organisational Secertary Pranab Prakash Das for a ‘landmark’ victory before the latter filed his nomination from Sambalpur Assembly seat in the forthcoming elections.

“All the best Bobby’! I am sure you will win,” said Patnaik in a video message to Pranab Prakash Das, who is the party’s candidate for Sambalpur Assembly Constituency fielded against Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Accompanied by BJD supporters, Das filed his nomination papers for Sambalpur seat today.

The election to the Sambalpur Assembly Constituency is scheduled on May 25. The seat in western Odisha will witness a tripartite fight in the ensuing elections. While the BJD has projected its Organisational Secretary Pranab Prakash Das commonly known as Bobby Das for the seat, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is eyeing to win the assembly segment to add a number to BJP’s ‘400+’ mission. The Congress has fielded Nagendra Pradhan, who is the former Lok Sabha member from Sambalpur, replacing the party candidate Dulal Chandra Pradhan.
