Allow dists, State headquarter to take part in dry run for vaccination: Odisha to MoHFW

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government requested the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) to conduct a dry run for Covid-19 vaccination in all 30 District Head Quarter Hospitals along with the State Head Quarter in Bhubaneswar.

During a video conference conducted by MoHFW today with all States and Union Territories, the Odisha government requested the ministry to enable the IT platform for the dry run at all District Head Quarter Hospitals and the Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar on January 2, 2021.

Worth mentioning, the MoHFW instructed the States and UTs to a hold dry run for the Covid Vaccination at all the State head quarters on January 2, 2021.

The Co-WIN web portal (trial version) will be used for dry run vaccination. At each site 25 health care workers will be enrolled in the portal for the dry run vaccination.

A five-member vaccination team including one vaccinator will be deployed at each vaccination site.

Also, all protocols related to Covid-19 vaccination will be followed during the dry run.
