‘Allow Plus II evaluation centres to remain open on weekends’

Bhubaneswar: The School and Mass Education Department today asked the district administrations to allow the evaluation zones to remain open on Saturday and Sunday.

In a letter to the District Collectors, SPs and Deputy Commissioner Police (Bhubaneswar-Cuttack), School and Mass Education Principal Secretary Chithra Arumugam said to ensure time bound publication of Plus II results, allow movement of persons associated with the Plus II evaluation process to and from the evaluation zones.

Movement of the examiner, technical support staff and others associated with the valuation process must be permitted from their residence to the valuation centres with the production of appointment letter or identity card, the letter read.

The evaluation of answer scripts of Plus II examination began from June 1. But the same was affected due to the weekly shutdown announced by district administrations and local authorities.
