I’m unofficial Health Minister of the country, says Baba Ramdev

Bhubaneswar: The founder of Patanjali  Group, Baba Ramdev said he has been the unofficial Health Minister of India.

Replying to a query from an audience at the ‘Odisha Nirman Conclave-2021’ organised by Odisha’s leading news channel Kanak News, Ramdev said, “I am the unofficial Health Minister of India.”

“Nobody had thought of someone like me who studied at a government school, reach the heights that I have achieved. Yoga is key to ‘Atmanirman’, which will ultimately help the citizen to become ‘Atmanirbhar’ and contribute to nation building,” Ramdev added.

He further said, “I am an Atmanirbhar Sanyasi. I don’t do business, rather I contribute towards nation building. I am making everyone self-reliant by helping them resolve their 99% problems, control and cure diseases without any medication.”

Ramdev stated human race is the most beautiful creation on the world. If human being wishes, they can win over of all difficulties including diseases, he added.

Participating in the programme through a virtual platform, he said someone should be health when three things are followed. One’s own responsibility, responsibility of the government and responsibility of the society are adhered to any pandemic situation can be kept away.

“If someone’s immunity is strong, no disease can affect the person. Moreover, society should take initiative to make health a top priority. Health awareness is must to beat Covid-19 pandemic and other diseases,” said Ramdev.

Replying to a query whether he would be ambassador of the Odisha government for Koraput Coffee and Kandhamal Haldi, Ramdev said he is ready to support the Odisha government to promote the State’s culture, if approached. Patanjali Group is also eager to set up its unit in the State and do whatever is possible for wellness of the people.
