Amid lockdown, this Odisha district provides transit e-pass

Bhubaneswar: In order to help people getting transit pass in hassle free manner during the lockdown, the Ganjam district administration adopted a systems developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Bhubaneswar to generate e-pass.

Official sources said the NIC has developed the ‘Transit e-Pass for #COVID19’ using its service plus framework.

Ganjam is the first district in the State to implement this system.

The e-pass generated is sent by email to the citizens.
