Every worker of the party right from those in the grassroots level to the national president will make efforts to induct at least 100 members into the part. After they do so, they will be made an active member of the party who can then be able to organize programmes for the party. As part of the programme, I have inducted 100 members into the party today. We need to broaden the membership base of the party at the booth level to take Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s programme forward. I am thankful to the Odisha unit, which has selected this historic village on the banks of the Daya river where the people of Kalinga fought with the mighty army of Ashoka,” said Shah addressing the gathering.
“We need to have at least 100 members in each booth in all the 36,000 booths in the state. Then only the party will grow in the state and come to power on its own in the state. Amit bhai today emphasized on increasing the party’s membership to strengthen it at the booth leve,l, said Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
“In order to make Odisha the number one state in the country, we need to get a majority in the next elections to form a government of our own in the state. Ffor that to happen, increasing the membership of the party is all important. The leader has given us many lessons yesterday on how to strengthen the party in the state against the BJD and will be giving a few lesson today also,” said Union Minister Jual Oram.
