Bhubaneswar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda will visit Odisha for several party programmes in the month of June.
While Amit Shah will visit Odisha on June 17, Nadda will head for the state on June 22, informed Odisha BJP President Manmohan Samal today.
Party sources said that the party chief and party leader will visit Odisha to attend ‘Maha Jansampark’ campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 31 to mark completion of nine years of BJP government at Centre.
Under the month-long public connect campaign, a number of programmes will be held from May 31 to June 30. During the period, party’s bigwigs will take part in public programmes across the country.
As the party successfully completed nine years in power, total 41 mega public meetings will be held across the country. Five of them will be organised in Odisha which will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party chief JP Nadda and union ministers Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, the chief of state BJP said.
For the Maha Jansampark campaign, the central leadership of BJP will start stepping in to Odisha from June 6. They will participate in the party programmes in different Lok Sabha constituecies to reach out every household in Odisha.
The BJP has planned to touch at least one crore people in Odisha in Maha Jansampark Abhiyan on the achievements of Modi government and failures of the state government, Samal said.
