Bhubaneswar: BJP National President Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Odisha in September on a three-day tour, party’s National General Secretary and Odisha in-charge Arun Singh informed media here today at a press conference held at state party headquarters.

“BJP National President Amit Shah would be in Odisha for three days (Sep 6, 7 and 8) for which a preparatory meeting will be held today. The BJP’s graph is continuously increasing in the state and we are getting good results. The workers are upbeat and are reaching out to the people about the anti-people policies of Naveen Patnaik-led government,” Arun Singh said.

Shah will be participating in as many as 26 programmes during his visit, he added.

Besides, the saffron party has planned special programmes from August 9-30 to reach out to people. On the occasion of 75th anniversary of Quit India movement on August 9, the party would take out a mashaal rally at various places across the state. On the following day, Tiranga rally would be launched till August 14.

Similarly, ‘Naya Bharat Sankalp Siddhi’ – a vision for New India in which symposiums and conferences would be held from August 16-30 as part of the schedule.
