Amit Shah urges people to oust BJD from Odisha

Puri: BJP National President urged people of Odisha to oust the ruling BJD from the State to witness the development.

“Ab ki Baar Modi Sarkar and oust the BJD government from Odisha,” said Shah while addressing a national tribal convention at Talabania Ground in Puri today.

Attacking the BJD and Congress, the saffron party chief said that both the parties are B team of each other.

He termed Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik as ‘deaf’ saying, “Naveen Babu is not able to hear people’s voice as he does not understands or speaks the regional language Odia.”

Shah criticised the State government over Ratna Bhandar key missing row, Dana Majhi incident and drinking water crisis.

He said that the alliance government at Centre and BJD in Odisha can never work towards development.

Hitting out at the BJD government in Odisha, he alleged the party is not concerned about providing better healthcare to people.

He said that the Naveen government did not implement Centre’s Ayushman Bharat scheme fearing to lose votes in the elections.

Addressing around 5000 tribal representatives at the two-day programme that commenced yesterday, Shah said that the tribals hold very special significance in Lord Jagannath culture.

However, the community is neglected here in the State and Naveen government has failed to work for their development, he said.

“BJP is the only party that respects tribals and is working for their development. Currently, 32 MPs from the party belong to the tribal community. However, the community is neglected here in the State and Naveen government has failed to work for their development,” he said.
