Amitabh Bachchan hospitalised; undergoes surgery again

Bhubaneswar: Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan has left his fans shocked after breaking the news of his surgery on Saturday.

Yesterday, Big B took to his official Tumblr blog and shared the news of his surgery in one broken line. He wrote, “medical condition..surgery..can’t write.”

However,  the actor did not elaborate about ailments he was suffering from or what surgery he underwent.  

Following his social media post, wishes poured in from all around for his speedy recovery.

While some fans wrote in the comment section ‘get well soon’, some others kept asking what suddenly happened to Big B that he was hospitalised again.  Many other fans of the industry’s ‘Angry Young man’ urged him not to take stress due to health complication and suggested him for complete rest.

The 78-year-old actor had tested positive for COVID-19 last year. Throughout his journey of recovery from the lethal virus infection, the actor shared his experiences with his blog readers.

Amitabh Bachchan, who last featured in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ has several other projects lined up. Recently, he was shooting for ‘MayDay’. Earlier, he had also shared details about projects that he and his wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were working on.
