Anandpur municipality VC arrested in Odisha capital over group clash

Bhubaneswar: Anandpur municipality Vice Chairperson (VC) Suresh Sahu was today arrested in Odisha capital over his alleged involvement in a group clash at Ghasipura in Odisha's Keonjhar district during Raja festival.

Notably, at least two persons were injured after a group clash ensued during a procession on the occasion of Raja on June 16.

Demanding immediate arrest of persons involved in the incident, locals had gheraoed the Ghasipura police station.
