Anil Gochikar wins Mr Odisha title in bodybuilding

Anil Gochikar of Puri district won the Mr. Odisha title consecutively for the fourth time in the state level bodybuilding championship held in Nabarangpur district yesterday.

Gochikar was selected to represent Odisha in the upcoming Mr. India Championship to be held at Gurgaon in Haryana from March 2 to 4.

Total 215 contestants from 25 districts had participated in ten categories in the championship held at Mandei ground in Nabarangpur.

While Bahal khan of Ganjam won the best poser title, Lokanath Mudirasta won the most improving body builder title.

Puri team was awarded as the best team in the competition.

The entry of female participant was seen in the contest for the first time. Ranjita Samantaray, student of Bhabani Sankar Sahoo, set a new trend by showcasing women fitness.
