Annada Sankar Das appointed Drugs Controller, Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today appointed senior officer Annada Sankar Das as the Drugs Controller, Odisha. In an order, the Health and Family Welfare Department said Das, working as the OSD in the department, is hereby posted as Drugs Controller, Odisha with immediate effect.

He is allowed to exercise the powers of Controlling Authority under Rule-50 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945, the order read.

In the afternoon, Das was relieved from his duties as OSD in H & FW Department.

Worth mentioning, Das was shifted to the State Secretariat following the hooch tragedy in Cuttack and Khordha districts in February 2012.
