Another 10 succumb to COVID-19 in Odisha; here’re details

Bhubaneswar: Another 10 persons infected with COVID-19 succumbed to the virus in Odisha in the last 24 hours, informed the State Health & Family Welfare Department today.

“Regret to inform the demise of Ten #COVID19 positive patients while under treatment in hospitals,” the Department tweeted.

The deaths were reported from 5 districts. While Ganjam district registered the highest number of 5 deaths due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, 2 deaths were reported from Sundargarh and 1 each patient died of the virus in Cuttack, Nayagarh and Rayagada districts.

Following fresh deaths, the toll rose to 419 in Odisha.

Here’re details of deaths reported in the last 24 hours in Odisha:

1. A 65-year old male of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Diabetes & Hypertension.

2.A 70-year old male of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Dialated Cardiomyopathy, Diabetes mellitus.

3. A 68-year old female of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes, Cirrhosis & Morbid obesity.

4.A 60-year old male of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes & Morbid obesity.

5.A 63-year old male of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes.

6.A 60-year old male of Ganjam district.

7.A 65-year old male of Nayagarh district.

8.A 55-year old male of Rayagada district.

9.A 65-year old male of Sundergarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes.

10. A 67-year old male of Sundergarh district who was also suffering from Hypertension.
