Another 143 COVID-19 patients recover in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The total number of recovered patients from COVID-19 infection in Odisha reached 3,863 after another 143 patients cured of the disease today.

Official sources said the recovered patients are being discharged from hospitals after their samples tested negative for the virus.

The maximum number of 18 persons from Gajapati district recovered from the infection. A total of 15 persons each from Bargarh, Malkangiri and Puri districts whereas 12 from Balangir, 10 from Cuttack and nine from Khordha district recuperated.

Eight from Mayurbhanj, six from Kendrapara and five each from Balasore, Dhenkanal and Sambalpur districts recovered from the infection.

Three each from Bhadrak, Boudh, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur and Kalahandi districts, two each from Kandhamal and Keonjhar and one from Sundergarh cured of the disease.
