Another 164 COVID-19 patients recover in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Another 164 persons infected with novel coronavirus in Odisha have recovered from the deadly virus, informed State Health & Family Welfare Department today.

Of the new number of recovered cases, 48 are from Ganjam district, 31 from Jagatsinghpur district, 26 from Balasore district, 25 from Cuttack district, 12 from Jajpur district, 12 from Khordha district, 3 each from Kendrapara and Sundargarh districts, 2 from Keonjhar district and 1 each from Bhadrak and Nayagarh districts respectively.

With fresh recoveries, the total number of COVID-19 recovered cases now stands at 5353. 

While the COVID-19 tally in Odisha has increased to 7,316,  the number of active cases dropped to 1930 so far. 

Meanwhile, 25 patients have died of COVID-19 in the State and 8 corona patients have succumbed due to other ailments.
