Bhubaneswar:  As many as 168 COVID-19 patients in the state have recovered in the last 24 hours and are being discharged today, said the Health and Family Welfare Department.

With this, the total number recovered cases in the state mounted to 4291.

The fresh recoveries have been reported from Ganjam (39), Khordha (23), Gajapati (23),Puri (19), Baragarh (13), Sundargarh (8), Balasore (7),Bhadrak (5), Rayagada (5), Malkangiri (4), Kendrapada (4), Keonjhar (4), Jagatsinghpur (4), Sonepur (4), Angul (3), Dhenkanal (2) and Jharsuguda (2).

Earlier in the day, Odisha reported 210 fresh positive cases, following  which the state's total tally rose to 5962. Of the 30 districts, Ganjam has the highest number of positive cases at 1088 followed by Khordha and Cuttack with 735 and 510 cases, respectively.
