Another 233 Covid positive cases detected in Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar: The number of Covid-19 positive cases in Odisha Capital today crossed 27,000 mark and stood at 27,228 after another 233 persons from the city tested positive for the virus.

As per the data provided by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), out of the total positive cases detected today in the city, 51 were quarantine cases. A total of 182 positive cases were local contact cases.

The recovery count in Bhubaneswar crossed 24,000 mark with 313 Covid-19 patients being recuperated from the disease today. So far, the city’s recovery count stood at 24,143.

A total of 137 patients died of the viral infection in the city. Till now the number of active cases was at 2,927.
