Another 24 COVID-19 patients recover in Odisha; total cured cases 220

Bhubaneswar: Amid rise in number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha, another 24 patients recovered from the disease, informed State Health & Family Welfare Department today.

Out of 24 cured patients, 19 are from Ganjam, 3 from Jajpur and 2 are from Balasore districts.

The patients are being discharged from COVID hospitals after they were found negative for the deadly virus in the medical test.

With this, the total number of recovered cases now stands at 220, the Department said in a tweet.

Earlier in the day, 30 patients had recovered in the state, of which 28 were from Ganjam and 1 each from Balasore and Cuttack districts.

Following recovery of 54 patients in a day, now total number of active cases remains 604 in Odisha.
