Another 43 persons die of COVID-19 in Odisha; Details here

Bhubaneswar: The deadly COVID-19 claimed another 43 lives in the last 24 hours in Odisha taking the toll to 3,210.

“Regret to inform the demise of forty three numbers of Covid positive patients while under treatment in hospitals,” informed the State Health & Family Welfare Department today.

The fresh COVID-19 deaths were reported from 17 districts with Khordha registering the highest single-day fatalities of 5 followed by Angul, Bargarh, Cuttack and Sundargarh districts with 4 each.

The remaining 22 fatalities were reported from the districts — Boudh (3), Kalahandi (3), Balasore (2), Ganjam (2), Jharsuguda (2), Kendrapara (2), Puri (2), Rayagada (2), Dhenkanal (1), Kandhamal (1), Nayagarh (1) and Sambalpur (1).
