Another 45 persons die of COVID-19 in Odisha; Toll surges to 3,302

Bhubaneswar: Another 45 COVID-19 infected patients died of the virus in the last 24 hours in Odisha.

“Regret to inform the demise of forty five numbers of Covid positive patients while under treatment in hospitals,” informed the State Health & Family Welfare Department today.

The fresh fatalities were reported from 19 districts with Khordha district registering the highest of 6 followed by Cuttack district (4).

The remaining 35 deaths were reported from the districts — Angul (3), Balasore (2), Bargarh (2), Bhadrak (3),  Dhenkanal (3), Gajapati (1), Jagatsinghpur (3), Jajpur (2), Jharsuguda (1), Kalahandi (1), Kendrapara (2), Keonjhar (2),  Mayurbhanj (2), Nayagarh (1), Nuapada (1), Puri (3) and Sundargarh (3).

With the fresh COVID deaths in last 24 hours, the toll surged to 3,302 in Odisha.

1.A 42 years old Male of Angul District who was also suffering from Diabets Mellitus.

2.A 63 years old Female of Angul District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

3.A 65 years old Male of Angul District.

4.A 35 years old Male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Jaundise.

5.A 37 years old Male of Balasore District.

6.A 40 years old Male of Baragarh District.

7.A 35 years old Female of Baragarh District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

8.A 29 years old Male of Bhadrak District.

9.A 48 years old Female of Bhadrak District.

10.A 41 years old Male of Bhadrak District who was also suffering from Hypertension.

11.A 40 years old Male of Cuttack District.

12.A 63 years old Male of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

13.A 62 years old Male of Cuttack District.

14.A 72 years old Male of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus & Chronic Kideney Disease.

15.A 38 years old Male of Dhenkannal District.
