Another Covid warrior succumbs to virus in Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar: Another corona warrior today succumbed to the virus in the Odisha Capital. As per reports, the corona warrior was identified as Constable Ashish Mahakul.

He was working as a Constable with Bhubaneswar Reserve. While being on duty, Mahakul contracted the virus.

He joined the Odisha Police in 1995. He is survived by his wife and two sons.

A total of two COVID-19 patients today succumbed to the virus taking the death toll to 40 in the city.

Today, a record 505 COVID-19 positive cases were detected in the city. So far the city has reported 9506 positive cases.
