Balangir: Another COVID warrior succumbs to the deadly virus in Balangir district today. Inspector Bijayananda Karkara died of the viral infection while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Vishakhapatnam.

He was in charge of the Corona control room at Balangir SP office.

Karkara worked as the Inspector In-charge at Kantabanji Police Station. He was also associated with organizations doing social work.

He worked at Balangir Town Police Station and Titlagarh Police Station as well. He was a well known police officer in the district for his sincerity and dedication.
