Berhampur: Another forest official fell under Vigilance scanner for allegedly amassing wealth disproportionate to his known source of income.

The accused official is identified as Ashish Kumar Behera, posted as DFO in Berhampur.

A team of sleuths of Cuttack Vigilance Cell conducted simultaneous raids at his office and residences at nine places following search warrants issued by Special Judge Vigilance Bhubaneswar.

Till last report came in, the raids were underway at a residential flat located at Mani Trivuban Apartment in Bhubaneswar, official residence of DFO-Berhampur, Berhampur DFO office room, house at his native place in Bhanjanagar, in-laws house at Ambapua in Berhampur, residence and office room of Digapahandi Range Officer Paramananda Panigrahi in Berhampur and residential house and office room of Khallikote Range Officer Dillip Kumar Martha in Berhampur.
