Bhubaneswar: Actor-turned-politician Anubhav Mohanty, who had filed divorce petition against his wife Varsha Priyadarshini, has put forward a proposal for her to be 'friends after divorce'.

Taking to social media platform X, Mohanty expressed his affection for the actress saying that he loved her from the deepest core of his heart.

"I never wanted this separation to be so dirty but when separation is a must, then why not a respectable one?" the Kendrapara MP asked and urged Varsha to reply to the post.

"I loved you from the deepest core of my heart. For whatever reasons, our marriage failed! Can’t we please be friends forever even after divorce? I never wanted this separation to be so dirty but when separation is a must then why not a respectable one, please?" Mohanty posted.

"You must and you should reply as immediately as possible being a responsible public personality please," he added.

Notably, the Family Court, Cuttack had on September 22 rejected Mohanty's divorce petition. It had also rejected the plea for restitution of conjugal rights filed by Varsha.
