Anubhav-Varsha marital discord: Actress to vacate her in-laws’ house within 30 days

Cuttack: In the ongoing marital discord between Kendrapara MP Anubhav Mohanty and his wife Varsha Priyadarshini, the Odia actress today informed District Judge Court in Cuttack that she will vacate her in-laws’ house within a month.

It is pertinent to mention, Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court had earlier directed Varsha on June 2 to vacate Anubhav’s parental house located in Nandi Sahi of Cuttack city, while hearing a petition filed by the parliamentarian.

Subsequently, Varsha challenged the SDJM court’s order and moved Cuttack District Judge Court, which ordered an interim stay on the lower court’s order.

Earlier, the SDJM court had asked Varsha to leave the house and the MP to pay a sum of Rs 30,000 on or before 10th of every month to the actress for her accommodation elsewhere in the city.

The lower court had fixed two months’ deadline for Varsha to vacate her in-law’s house after receiving the first month’s financial assistance.
