Application to get licence for firearms to be made online in Odisha!
Bhubaneswar: Now obtaining licence for firearms will be hassle-free in Odisha as the Commissionerate police is mulling to make the application process online.
If the sources are to be believed, getting licence in six departments will be online. Like passport, the Commissionerate police is planning to make application process online to issue various licenses to the applicants.

A meeting was held in this regard yesterday here to discuss the online process to issue licence for possession of firearms, petrol pump, crackers unit, cinematography and even giving permission to take out wedding procession in Bhubaneswar.
With execution of proposal, people can apply for various licenses online submitting required documents without visiting the offices.
